Eddie MacCarthy is the Founder and Senior Partner of MacCarthy & Associates. He was called to the Ghana Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He holds a Qualifying Certificate of Law from the Ghana School of Law, a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Oil and Gas Law, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with Philosophy, all from the University of Ghana.

Eddie has strong expertise in Tort Law, Intellectual Property Law, Banking Law and Practice, legal drafting, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He brings a practical and solution-focused approach to legal practice, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to achieving lasting outcomes for clients.

In addition to his legal practice, Eddie is a Lecturer of Law at Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, and KAAF University College, where he teaches various law subjects.

He is known for his diligence, efficiency, and high level of organisation. A creative and analytical thinker, Eddie is open to innovative approaches to dispute resolution and problem-solving. He enjoys working with people, addressing complex legal challenges, and delivering timely, effective, and client-centred legal solutions.
